The Bank wont pay me my credit card surplus.

i closed my STD bank account on the 7th of Jan after opening an FNB account. FNB had previously settled my credit card by more than i owed STD Bank. i was given money from my cheque account and i was told that i would be called by the credit card div for the settlement of my credit card surplus they would be the only one to close my account and call me for the transfer of funds to my new bank account.<br> <br> unfortunately the number i had registered for them to call me on broke two days later, i then went to the bank on the 10th of Jan to change the number. the enquiries lady assured me that she has changed the number and there were no records that STD credit card div had called me as yet.<br> <br> 14th Jan i recieved a mail that my credit card had been closed but still i didnt have my money. i called again around the 19th to enquire and was told that i was called on the 12th but couldnt be reached, which is false as i did not recieve any missed calls on the new number and i had changed the number on the 10th. apparently my funds were then paid to my closed cheque account. i then left my new bank account with the helpdesk lady (***) but nothing has been paid/comunicated to me since
