THE BANK THAT'S NOT THERE WHEN YOU NEED THEM

I have been with Standard bank like forever and have 2 credit cards with them. I have for between 12 to 15years never skipped a payment with the bank and was very happy. The test comes when you need your bank to be there for you, than you can see the true assistance. I have been retrenched on 6July 2020 due to covid19. I haven't received a salary since lockdown started at the end of March 2020. I have been to endless interviews and I am still unemployed and still looking. I have other financial institutions that I owe money and luckily some of them covered me with retrenchment benifits. Standard bank just don't care, they are just demanding there money and is ignoring my correspondence via email on my financial situation. I can't even feed my family let alone pay Standard bank. The banks don't care about you and me people, you are good if you pay but as soon as there is unforeseen circumstances like covid 19 they turn on you. These adverts of them wanting to help you is just lies, now in a time of covid19 and people needing people they get exposed. I have learnt my lesson with these banks. God must just give me the resources and work to pay them of and leave standard bank for the worthless unhelpful bank they are.
