Terrible services for International clients who have a standard bank account

Worst service. Standard Bank has to be the most useless bank. Huge issues with bank account. Froze a family members bank account, he is in Australia. Bank did not inform him of frozen account. Debit orders for insurance accounts did not go through. Important insurance policies.

Proof of residency was required. It was submitted in December 2022. No feedback from Standard Bank. Account remained frozen.

We called Standard Bank, had complaint escalated 3 times, was informed that STANDARD BANK required proof of residence from Australia As well.

Every week, there was a different requirement. No consistency. ClI submitted an online complaint.

I requested formal written correspondence from STANDARD BANK, FOR consistency, for proof of a paper trail, where there detail what is required to unfreeze the account, so that debit orders can go THROUGH. I demanded communication in writing.

STANDARD BANK IS NOT FOR BUSINESS OR SALARIED PROFESSIONALS.

THEY ARE TOTALLY USELESS. THEY ESCALATE TO THEIRNRESOECTIVE MANAGERS, AND THEIR MANAGERS, NO TURN AROUND TIME, NO FEEDBACK PROVIDED TO YOU, AS A CLIENT, IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF, TO CLIENT LIASON, MO FOLLOW UP.

TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE

THERE IS NO COMPLAINT RESOLUTION PROCESS. ALL WORK FROM HOME. THEREFORE NO ACCOUNTABILITY.

STANDARD BANK STAFF NEED TO WORK IN OFFICES WHERE THEY CAN BE MONITORED.
