Terrible Service ever in South Africa!! 😡😡😡

I wish I was warned with Standard Bank before I even finance my car with them. Terrible service!!!

Okay this is how my story goes with Standard Bank - South Africa

In 2021 there was a debt reduction on my vehicle and asset account because of a lumpsum that went in. So I had to apply for a new payment arrangement with a reduced installments obviously, they took their time, sometimes not responding to my emails and not taking my calls, until I had to threaten them with taking legal actions, and that's when they started responding, they delayed the process purposefully for months so that they will continue deducting the initial instalment which was bigger than the one for a new arrangement. That's how greedy they are, you have received a lumpsum yet you still delaying a client so u continue deduct fat instalment.

They then sent me a form to fill in with revised instalments, sent me an email address to send it to. I filled in and sent, after a month I got an email that they haven't received the form, they sent a new one with recalculated instalment which was now bigger than the first one, saying they had to recalculate based on the current interest rate, I tried to tell them that i sent an email to the email address, they sent me another email address, guess what? The initial address was incorrect, their mistake. They didn't even apologize for inconvenience, but I was penalised with an increased instalment.

Okay fine, they sent me a form with a new revised payment arrangement which stated that it will commence on the 22nd of December 2021and end on the 15th of February 2027. Now note that all this time my instalments with them are deducted on the 15th of every month, that is the arrangement we made. I signed the letter under the impression that the 22nd appearing is a commencement for new agreement as it was written so. Obviously the first payment should be on the 15th January 2022. Did Creditworkx not call me in January tell me that my Standard Bank account is in arrears because I missed payment on the 22nd of December, I told them I didn't know that was a payment date, but them I settled the amount due so that they will take the account back to Standard Bank (please note that this is one payment missed according to them yet they already sending creditworkx to collect for them).

I then decided to call Standard Bank and enquire when is my next instalment, they said on the 22nd of February, I asked them who agreed with you on that date because me and you agreed about the 15th, they said no it was updated when We made a new payment arrangement and I even signed... Wow I was si shocked, so Standard Bank is allowed to give clients dates for debit orders and clients will only sign, now it's no longer about a client asking standard bank to deduct of the date the client is comfortable with??? I am so angry because they now say they can't change the payment date until I pay for thr month in arrears, which mean I must pay two instalments in one month so that they can change back to 15th.

I need any assistance I can get to deal with this unfair institution which has treated many unfairly over the years. I cannot be treated like this, no not me!!!
