Teller denies student of accessing account.
Last week on Thursday (04/01/2016) at around 12:15pm I was at the tellers inside Standard bank with my Id book in hand. When I asked the teller to please assist me to withdraw R500 using my id she said no. I queried as to why I can not withdraw. Without asking me she said \ We need your bank card to withdraw and we don't allow to withdraw with your id\" I asked as to how can I withdraw because its my first time hearing of this. She asked me of my cellphone banking if it was active and I said yes. She said make an instant money to yourself because I will not help you. Instant money did not work and I had to re-register for about a half an hour on the phone I got anxious and told the man on the phone that I just wanted to withdraw and didn't have my card and the teller said no. the man over the phone asked me to call over the teller or manager to talk about why and or how come I'm being denied access to my account. The Manager said the reason the teller said no to withdrawing is that I might be up to *****. I asked how did she come to that conclusion. The teller is Indian and I am black that does not mean I should be treated with lesser dignity, courtesy or disrespected "
