Tata my Money, Tata my Service

Three big issues: I changed my contact details, in the Tyger Manor branch last year. My new cell number has since been listed for my transaction sms's etc. When registering the cellphone app, I noted that for some reason, my old number, which I requested be removed from my profile is still listed. I emailed ibsupport to ask them to correct this, but was told that for security reasons I have to change this in the branch. Why? When I have already done this? Does Standard bank not sync updated profile details with its internet banking? Secondly, when I tried to buy electricity through the cellphone app, I received an error message to say there's an issue with the meter nr (there isn't - looks like the supplier used by std bank simply doesn't service it), and that the transaction therefore failed. Only to receive the sms notification that the R700 has been deducted from my account! Please note, on my "new" number! And no electricity voucher in sight .... Thirdly, and to add insult to injury, I emailed ibsupport on the day this happened, the 6th of March. I AGAIN emailed on the 10th. The amount of feedback I've had since then? NONE. To say I've had enough of ****py service from Standard Bank, is an understatement.

Thanks to Clint for courteous and efficient resolution of my issues. It is a pity that the point of 1st call wasn't able to address my issues, but at least there appears to be an effective Complaints Resolution team.
