Taking time for an emergency loan

I'm extremely disappointed with Standard Bank after waiting and waiting and waiting for increasing my RCP limit as I urgently need the credit to do urgent repairs to my vehicle. Currently I to rely on alternative transport to be able to work.

I have submitted my request on 22 April 2021. I got a contract emailed from Standard Bank which indicated that my application was successful and it stipulated the loan amount, monthly payments and duration of the loan. Standard Bank sent me an email requesting to send me a copy of my payslip and 3 months bank statements, which I did.

Currently I have my own business as well I'm consulting for my brother's company as well, and have two sources of income.

I have been emailing and phoning to the call center to speed up the process, but nothing. Here is the one reference number: ***

Standard Bank is quick to take my money monthly for their services, but when I'm in desperate need of help, they take their time.

I might as well close my personal cheque account and business account and open new accounts with another bank that will be quick to help me with an emergency loan.

I might as well consider going with another bank after being loyal and being with Standard Bank for 20 years.

Convince me otherwise.

Time for a fresh start...

Hi Standard **** - Shooting Forward

Apparently my application was declined because I'm self employed.

I'm in the queue here to speak to a consultant face to face to see what my options is.

If I still get declined, I will be declining both my personal cheque account card and my business cheque account card in front of the consultant and will be on my to another bank to open new accounts and will be transferring my funds to the new accounts.

I will return to your pathetic branch tomorrow to decline both my accounts and finally get my divorce done with Standard **** - Shooting Forward after 20 years.
