Taking more than 2 years for an estate to be finalised

My sister passed away more than two years ago. She was seriously disabled in a car accident and was in a home for 5 years. Before her accident, she was a Standard Bank employee, so Standard Bank provide a free service to handle her estate. My father (ex-Standard Bank bank manager), made sure all her investments were done via Standard Bank, so that her will wouldn't cause problems. Her medical aid was also provided by Bankmed and she received a monthly pension from the bank.

All the information about by sister's estate was provided to the Standard Bank executors, within a week of her funeral. I went in and personally provided all the information, filled in forms, etc at the Port Elizabeth branch. Nothing happened for about a year and then I was informed by the person handling the will (Ielhaam Pelham) that it was being passed on to someone else (Hanri Smit Snyman). She seemed to take it more seriously and at least I got some feedback from her. However, the forms that I'd filled in in PE seemed to have disappeared so I had to provide the information to her again. I sent an official letter of complaint to her on January 18 (this year), requesting her to escalate the matter within her department. I've received nothing back, not even an acknowledgement of receipt of the email.

I am extremely disappointed and upset by the lackadaisical way this is being handled by Standard Bank. The estate is not complex at all - all the information is held by Standard Bank and everything is straight-forward. I find it incredibly sad that they would treat an ex-employee in this way. After my father passed away, his estate was completed in 9 months by the Bloemfontein branch. This is just unacceptable and a disgrace. I would appreciate a response on this matter.
