Switching to Standard Bank a nightmare!!

Credit Card application a nightmare Good day!

I'm a client of another banking institution, but was drawn towards Standard Bank,

I wished to switch over my salary and open a credit card with Standard Bank. I'd app**** for the Titanium Card and was approved with a substantial credit limit.

But the Credit Card team couldn't "confirm employment" as the business isn't listed in the telephone directory.

I work for a small family-run business, that mainly deals with a set group of clientèle and most of the work is mobile, and not behind a shop counter. Therefore there's no need for a landline.

So how does one get approved for a credit card in this instance.

All the other credit providers, that I have accounts with, happily approved my application without looking in the telephone directory.

Thoroughly upset with Standard Bank.
