SubStandard Service

I have been waiting for the past three weeks for an international transfer to my cheque account. Eventually came to the point that Standard bank wants the swift message, but I must obtain it, the client. What does Standard bank do to earn its fees if the client needs to do the work. The sender of the funds gave me the details of the sending bank and I forwarded these to Standard bank in order for them to confirm swift etc. Now this morning I receive a message back from the bank saying they don't deal with third parties. What third party ? Standard bank is the receiving bank of the funds and hence a party to the transaction. Have you lost the funds ? Is anyone willing to try to resolve this matter ?

If so I am currently overseas and my SA cellphone does not work. Please contact me via email to obtain my contact details.
