Subject: Urgent request for follow-up on reassessment and updated property valuation

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you regarding the reassessment of my property recently conducted by your appointed assessor. The inspection and valuation took place more than 15 working days ago. According to the information I received, the assessor has already submitted the updated valuation to Standard Bank. However, to date, I have not received any feedback from your office.

This delay places me in a very difficult and high-risk position. Without confirmation of the updated valuation, I am unable to insure my property for the correct replacement value. This means that my property is currently underinsured, and in the event of any damage, I face the risk of not being adequately covered.

I therefore urgently request that you: 1. Provide written confirmation of the newly established value within 5 working days; and

Should this matter continue to be delayed, I would also like clarity on who will be held liable for the consequences of my property not being correctly insured at this time.
