Student loan updates

I currently have a student loan with Standard Bank. I am struggling to get updates on my remaing balance. When calling the customer helpline, exact loan amount must be given to receive outstanding balance. Which is understandable, but couldn't there have been other security questions to verify surely?

I then visited the Wilkoppies branch at Pnp hyper Klerksdorp. To which I then spoke to a consultant where she gave me the amount. Then I launched a request to receive sms statements as I did previously did and/or email. She also said that she will be in contact as to update me on the situation. Have not received an single SMS, E-mail or telephone call.

I am honestly frustrated and am seeking proper assistance.
