Stop exploiting people with accounts that are no longer in use!!!

I opened a cheque account in 2015 and used until 2018 February when i stopped using the account in October 2018 the account had accumulated about - R1200 worth of charges some funds were deposited into my account and they deducted the amount This was on a Sat,I went into the Standard bank branch in BT Ngebs on a Monday to close the account i was then informed by the lady assisting me that i need to pay an additional R148 before i could close the account and i did not understand what it was for now i apparently now owe R2000 Standard bank is not getting a dim more from me when i wanted to close account and they didn't What happened to banks closing an inactive bank account instead of ******ing people now am being harassed as if i owe standard bank when i do not
