Stone age service never changes!!

I need to give notice to cancel my bond as my property has been sold. After calling the call centre I was told that I need to write a letter and FAX it through?! I am unaware of ANY business that still operates with a fax. I am told that Standard Bank does not have an email address with which they can receive such letters. I find it absolutely shocking that Standard Bank is not only still stuck in the stone age, but inconveniencing their clients with their appalling business practices. How does such a big company operate without an email account for such an essential service?! What a relief that once my bond is cancelled, I never have to do business with this bank again. Over the years I have closed everyone of my accounts with them because they make the simplest of issue so problematic!!
