Still no luck with standard bank

Its been nearly a month and still standard bank can't or won't help. They would rather finance a vehicle that is obsolete, just to have it in their "asset list". Three hours after buying the vehicle, the engine gave in. They can't do anything to the seller? A massive bank, with loads of lawyers behind them? I find that hard to believe. Standard bank sort this out. I REFUSE to pay any installments and will cancel all my accounts with you. Why in the hell do I need consent from a lying, thieving used car salesman? He's too happy to let go of the vehicle.
