Still no Home Loan Protection Plan, even after they confirmed that it will be added

<p>Because it does not seem like Standard Bank responds on their Insurance Hello Peter listings, I'm loading this review under Standard Bank itself.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've been trying for years now to get a home loan protection plan added to my home loan. This is extremely important to me because I do not want my family to sit with the burden if something were to happen to me. I've received a quote on it in 2015 already, but since then it was never activated. I only discovered that I was not covered in Jan 2017, and I've spent hours on the phone with different parts of the bank (Credit Life, Home Loans, Branch etc) and again they confirmed that the insurance will be added. Today, 6 weeks later I check again and still nothing. </p> <p> </p> <p>During the discussions on the phone I also asked for the telephone recordings (they clearly state that I can get it) but have not received a single recording. </p> <p> </p> <p>The people I talked to in Credit Life is Kugan, Tebogo, Lerato. </p> <p> </p> <p>The second issue is also that they keep saying the qualification amount is R1.2M (which I do qualify for anyway), but on the website it states in multiple places that the amount is R1.6M. Thus there is no reason for struggling with this.</p> <p> </p>
