still being charged cash finance fee

I wrote on the site a few weeks ago that i used my standard card by mistake at an ATM when i should have used my debit card.and Standard Card has been charging me a fee every month. I then got a call from some guy from the card division who said they will cancel this fee. Now I got my new statement and they are still charging me the cash finance fee. So the R1000 I withdrew is going to cost me more than R1000 in fees for the rest of my life unless I pay the full balance and close my account.
