STD Banks doesnt clean up their mess!!!

In Jul'15 I had refinanced my vehicle with Standard Bank<br> STD Bank approved my vehicle finance application however, they took my banking details down incorrectly<br> As a result I was not debited my vehicle loan at month end as scheduled (first instalment was due 25 Aug'15 - the next 2 instalments were not debited as well)<br> <br> In Oct'15 I informed STD Bank that they have not been debiting my account, which is when they found out they had my incorrect details. I gave them the correct details<br> Further to this I paid one instalment immediately and settled the entire vehicle loan within a week<br> STD Bank was meant to inform the relevant credit departments of STD Bank's error and remove any negative credit listings from my credit record<br> <br> After 3 weeks of back and forth emails I was informed by my bank FNB that there is still a record of non-payment reflecting on my credit record<br> I am in the process of purchasing a new vehicle and I am either unable to get a vehicle loan or am getting high interest rates for the loans due to STD Banks payment error reflecting under my name<br> <br> Complete lack of accountability from STD Bank<br> If you want vehicle finance try any other bank...or just buy a bicycle
