Std bank Tzaneen

I called std bank call centre regarding openning a burial societty account to veryfy if there is a need to make an appointment. the contact centre agent told me that there is rno need to make an appointment as walkins are allowed. Now I requested three members to visit the branch and upon arrival they were told that they have to make an appointment. The bank gave them an appontment date of 04 April 2022.the socoety spend R700 on transport and now we have to go again on a later date which would mean anotger R700. This is unacceptable because i enquired before if there is a need to make an appointment prior and the call centre agent said no.
