Std Bank lost title deed .Charging interest for

From the 5th October 2015 , the cancellation attorney has been repeatedly requesting the title deed from Standard Bank whom our bond is with . Standard Bank had lost the title deed , and took no urgency in obtaining a replacement . It is now four months later since the initial request for the title deed and it has not yet been produced . In the meanwhile we are paying over R5000 a month in interest on the bond , plus monthly admin fees on this very bond that should have been cancelled months ago . In addition it is further costing us thousands in monthly levies on the property as well as rates and taxes on a property that should have been transferred to the buyer months ago . I called a senior partner at the banks nominated attorney whose exact words were ' I don't care ' .The Bank gives him lots of business so he his not willing to put any pressure on them even though they are at fault . He did not seem concerned that I had paid his firm thousands for the transfer .He acknowledged that it was taking way too long and that the escalations were not getting a response .We are being charged thousands in interest by the bank for months for delays caused by bank themselves
