Std bank is charging me honouring fee for what???

Am being charge the honouring fee of R120 by Standard bank and I want it back . I went to the shops and pay my accounts with my cheque card and it went thorough, after days then they charge me the honouring fee. Its not my fault that when I pay with the card it went through it was suppose to decline immediately when I didn't have enough money on my account. They need to pay me back and update me on time with the right amounts every time am using my card , why am I paying the service fee every month if am not going to be updated with the right information on time. If they cant help me they must just tell me so that I can move to another bank that will help me on time and with the right amounts.
