Std bank home loans do not know what they are doing

My home loan was approved for R700 000.00 with Std bank 3 months ago.a desktop evaluation was done and approved.I signed the documents and we were waiting for the transfer to occur.now Std banks affiliated attorneys subhash maharaj n Co advise me that the flat was re evaluated and they are only funding 550 000. What is the reason for this? Now the seller wants to sue me for breach of contract as I don't have the balance to cover the payment.if I had money lying around I wouldn't be applying for a home loan.what does Std bank think of themselves?and as for their service provider subhash maharaj attorneys they are also very delayed apart from being quiet rude.the first day we were at their offices a man was clicking his fingers at us to get our attention!!I find that very unprofessional as we are clients and not pets! The lady assisting was sitting with information ut still requesting tge same info from the sellers attorney for 2 whole weeks.Furthermore I have placed my notice with my landlord 3 months ago and new tenants will be moving in on 1 October. ..where will my family and I go to?maybe my family n I will camp outside Std banks offices and tell their clients why we are camping there or even outside subhash maharaj attorneys offices as they are handling the matter on behalf of Std bank!never have I seen such pathetic service from a bank and their provider.what happens next....is anyone competent enough at Std bank to answer me I wonder!I highly doubt it.

Your so called resolution specialist emailed me on Thursday afternoon with a standard robotic response stating the matter is being investigated.investigated how n where I would like to know.I emailed him on Friday morning and received an out of office reply.I called the complaints number and spoke to a black lady who said she will request for the resolution specialist'(Sicelo) team leader to contact me. I have yet to receive feedback or a callback or something from Std bank.very poor customer service.

I'm still waiting for feedback and time is ticking. The seller has started with charges against me for breach of contract.can someone responsible please handle my query.

I posted this complaint on 13 September. It's now the 21st and still being investigated?Sicelo advised me that even though I sent proof of Std bank approving the bond for 700 000 by their assessors another assessor states that the value of the flat is only 550 000.this seems messed up.how can you have people approving bonds for one amount and the next person refusing to agree. I'm still in this predicament where the seller wants to sue me for breach of contract and I don't have a place to live in as at the end of this month. Now it's been escalated.how much longer will that take! I really didn't expect this from such a large company.it's not my problem that they can't make up their mind!

The latest is that the incorrect description was used for the flat I wish to purchase.Std bank advised today that the bond was approved according to the description of the flat which was correct but they had requested their service provider to amend and after the amendment was done this changed the value of the property.if Std bank and their attorneys made errors on the docs how is that my problem.I don't understand why I must be penalised for their inconsistencies. We have spoken to the seller who states that he will agree to a portion being paid by us to him monthly as the full bond is not covered.I appealed to Std bank to reconsider the 550 000 amount they are approving and atleast try to round off the amount as the errors were on their side.I have yet to hear from them,if at all......

I would like to know why my repayment is over 7000 when my bond was reduced to 550000? No one at Std bank seems to want to give a detailed explanation.
