STD Bank has made retrenchment even more HELL

I was retrenched last year and claimed for assistance it was rejected because the loan is not covered for retrenchment. I asked at the time to reduce my payments and was told NO. I went into the bank and spoke to a consultant at the Worcester branch . Its been tough and my account is up to date however I cannot manage the full payments as I am still unemployed and not earning a salary yet. I called in today to request that I may move the debit order date as there are no funds in my account and was told it is too late. I respect that I however am requesting to move my debit order date to the 15th and to reduce my instalment for two months as I am confident and hopeful that I will be working by then. The consultant suggested that I not pay and let the account go to your lawyers then make arrangements. I cant do that that is why I am asking std bank to assist me first. I ve worked too hard to keep my account clean and I am so close to paying this loan off. Surely you can check my payment history to see how I managed my payments I sincerely hope that counts for something. For now two months grace is all i am asking. I hope it will be considered. NO1 has responded yet!! in arrears now:(
