STD Bank Deceased Estates lack of communication

Good day,

I am writing this complaint with hope on an update of my late Grandfather's Estate.

For the last few months it has been an ongoing battle to get any proper form of feedback from the Estates Department. I get told something over the phone by one person and another tells me something completely different, that is when someone eventually replies with an answer. It seems that not all is on the same page regarding this matter……

Towards the end of April 2022 I spoke to Rentia Moller which informed me that the estate documents was at the Master of the court for the letter of Executorship, she told me that it was there for more than 6 weeks at the time and that it should be done soon. This was the last real update that I got as the rest tell me the ID or Death Certificate is not sufficient. The documents were handed in at Standard Bank Nigel in December 2021,all was certified and correct. We are now another 9 weeks later on, the 6-8 weeks for the letter of Executorship has now become 7 Months!!!!!!

Is there a competent enough person at Standard Bank Estates Department that can provide accurate, clear and true feedback for us please?

Lindo Mlambo reads my emails but has never rep**** on any mail or provided a hint of feedback, yet his name has been mentioned a few times, apparently he is the case officer. Must I escalate this matter further to your Head office for proper attention or what can we do to get proper feedback?

My grandfather’s money and loyalty over the years probably means nothing to Standard bank now but I would really appreciate it if this matter can get the attention that it deserves.
