Std Bank current account additional charges raised

I have had a current account with Std Bank Private Banking for some years and have had an overdraft facility since the start. I am paying a set monthly bank charge for service rendered. Subsequently I have found that Std Bank in 2015 charged me R135 for a safety deposit box which I had no knowledge of. It took Std Bank nearly 8 months to investigate and refund me the ********** charge. <br> Last month I noticed an additional charge for R32 for my overdraft facility. When I questioned this, I was told that this is a new charge raised by the bank. I am still waiting for the communication where I was advised about the new charge and given the choice to cancel the facility. <br> It is HUGELY disappointing that the establishment you trust with your finances are actually raising ********** charges against your account, or charges without you knowledge or permission. And if it happened to me, how many other people don't check their accounts and does this happen to.
