STAY AWAY FROM STANDARD BANK. NOT ONLY WILL THEY MILK YOU DRY, THEY WILL ALSO GIVE YOU TERRIBLE SERVICE AND IGNORE YOUR QUEST FOR CLARITY.

Today marks a month since I wrote a review about our experience at a certain Standard Bank branch. Standard Bank was quick to respond via email and telephone asking me for documents which I have submitted but to date I haven’t received any feedback regarding my query. I now understand why the service was terrible even at the branch, I guess this is how this bank operates and how they have trained their members. Poor customer service is a nationwide pandemic across all branches at Standard bank I guess. Standard Bank South Africa please answer my query. My mom has already paid you R453 574.00 towards a revolving loan amounting to a total sum of R223 500.00 and yet you still want R76 383.05 on top. This calculation were made up to last month. So at the end, she would have paid you a total sum of R529 957.05. This is over 100% interest. So much for thinking that a bank is reputable. Truly sad!
