STAY AWAY FROM STANDARD BANK INSURANCE

Been with Standard Bank Insurance for at least 26 years and this is our first major claim. We went away for long weekend and while away suffered severe water damage in house. Now Standard Bank comes with escape clauses!!!! They only want to play for 80/% of damaged kitchen cupboards and tiles!!! Kitchen at least 15 years old and we cannot match cupboards or tiles!!! Must we sit with kitchen that does not match??? Also...Still not heard a word from assessor.. Unless Standard Bank can sort this out, we will be moving to AON who have almost completed our household contents claim in 24 hours and have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We are Private Banking clients and expected better service! AON has been so professional in comparison to the non-existent service from Standard Bank...
