Standardbank "lost" my property tittle deed - bad service
Standardbank lost my property tittle deed which has now pushed my transfer period out and subsequently the buyer threatened to cancel the deal. After much negotiation the buyer (cash deal) has agreed to move in at their expense. After many calls to Standardbanks useless call center I only received feedback twice by phone this after specifically requesting a formal response in writing . Your call center personal are not adequately trained to deal with these types of issues and speaking to supervisors doesn't help either particularly when you have to hold for 30 mins at a time. I expressed my concern that my bond will now be paid late and requested feedback tom make arrangements so that I don't pay any cancellation penalties when the transfer finally goes through.. I have sent emails 4 times he following e-mail (as per their website)addresses '***'; '***'; *** in the past two weeks and I'm yet to obtain a response.
I tried reaching out to senior executives at Standardbank for assistance but that's not possible because their very efficient and professional call center staff are supposedly adequately trained to resolve your problems.
This was the first time and the last time that I will afford Standardbank any of my business.
Don't bother sending me more e-mails addresses to send my complaints through; you have my contact details so you can contact me and formally respond to me in writing and start by apologizing for all the stress you have caused me because of your inefficiencies.
