Standardbank does not care for its customer and pathethic service

I logged a claim on the 3 June 2017 for a leaking pipe that flooded my house, the plumbers were sent out 4 days later to repair breaking doen a portion of the bathroom wall that leads to the outside of the house. The pipe is still leaking and no contact has been made to repair the wall. On the 9 June 2017 I submitted a quote for the pipe and resultant damages as the consultant said I must sent through the quote and payment will be made within 48 hours. On the 12 June 2017 I call again to find out what is happening with the claim. I spoke to another consultant and he told me that he see the quote and he will send it to the assessors and it will be paid out in 24 hours. Up until today I did not receive the payout and nor did I receive any feedback. Everytime I call the call centre I have to hold for a min of R30 minutes which is costly only to hear it will be paid out within a certain time frame.

It is winter and I have kids at home which is extremely cold due to the hole on the wall where it has been broken. This is unacceptable living condidtions but standardbank doesn't seem to care as long as they have a cosy house to go to everyday. I have been calling and trying to sort out for almost a month with no assistance. They don't wait for payment when they debit my account but I have to wait a month to get a small claim paid out for the repairs that can be done within 48 hours.

When the plumbers were advised not to break the wall but thread the pipe they were rude and said they know what they doing.

I got a call on Sunday 16 June from the construction guy that did not call me to make any arrangemnets and showed up at the property to repair the wall, I was so desperate to get the wall fixed and allowed him to see where the wall needs to be repaired. He said he cannot fit the wall as the pipes are still leaking. I asked him to report back to standardbank as I have been trying to tell them this for over a month but he said unfortunately he can't as it is the owners responsibility to report back to standardbank. I was again depressed and upset as I have been trying to tell standardbank this for a month and still nothing has bene done. The water needs to be turned off after every use as the house would flood.

This is so unprofessional and pathetic service from standardbank.

Please resolve and pay out the claim as I can get all the repairs done within 48 hours with a 2 year guarantee on workmanship and the supplier is very proffessional.
