Standard Zero

Some years back Standard Bank decided to consolidate their garage cards with their credit cards. My husband and I were amongst the customers who's cards were consolidated. So this year while in the process of an application we are told that..oh your application has been declined due to a garage card which my husband apparently used in 2015 and it's been handed to legal... without our knowledge! For the past 3months we're trying to get some sort of answer from Standard Bank, but the latest answer received was.. you'll just have to wait. Great stuff Standard Bank!! My husband has been your client for maybe 30years and myself almost 20years..and this is the service we get? We would've gladly paid the so called R1400 balance of that so called garage card then..cos I spend that money doing my nails every month! Clearly you're in the business of losing clients. We have never considered closing our accounts more than right now! Prestige account for what? For merely paying fees for bad service? I think not..
