Standard declines my further loan after six years

Good day,

I have been very disappointed by standard bank when I app**** for a further loan on my existing homeloan account for some alterations at home. For a week I had hoped that they would approve it as it was approved in principle, they asked for paid up letters and I gave them, they send an assessor to evaluate the property and the next day declined because of some technicality they only understand. I mean I have had this account for six years without default and now I need help from them they tell me declined on a joint bond where we share expenses in the house. I need this thing sorted with more details as to how they reached this conclusion. I even pulled my credit record on transunion ITC and there is things I no longer pay for and no defaults and I want a breakdown so I am at peace with it before I switch my bond to other banks who will really take good care of their customers. I have a debit order in place and the money goes direct to them. My wife has been heart broken by this whole incident because she was positive that there is really nothing to hinder what we wanted to do. If I don't get what I need then I would have to switch maybe other banks will help me.
