Standard bank....once they get you in, you on your own!

STANDARD BANK VEHICLE AND ASSET FINANCE IS THE WORST! I have been trying to apply for a payment holiday since the car that I am paying for was in an accident and I needed money to fix it (insurance giving me stories about the claim). Car was in an accident in December, submitted all the required documents and motivational letter. With these documents, they require that you submit a cover confirmation that is not older that 7 days, got it, submitted it. They respond to me the following week saying that the confirmation is older than 7 days (obviously at the time they decided to entertain may request it was > than 7 days, but I submitted within). Not only did it end there, I received an email from one of their employees saying I must submit a confirmation that is not older than 30 days!!! Called my insurance submitted the required document AGAIN.....no response received. Worst thing is that I even have a private banker........well that service is non existent really
