Standard Bank zero response to request for assistance due to Covid-10
I've been trying to reach Standard Bank to request payment assistance on my homeloan due to Covid-19. I have called, tried social media, emailed, completed online forms on their website to get them to call me back, and I have received zero response. I held for over 50 minutes trying to get through. No luck. No replies to emails besides automated responses saying they will get back to me. This is now over a month. How do I get through to these people, this is a very very urgent situation!

28 Apr 2020, 13:30This is the email I have now received - however this does not specify anything about my homeloan, no details, no attachment, nothing. My last debit order went off despite having received this same generic email!
Dear Customer,
Your request for assistance has been processed and we are pleased to advise you of the outcome.
To improve your three month cashflow situation, you have been approved for a three month payment holiday on all of your lending products. This means that you do not need to make a payment towards your instalments for 3 months. Whilst interest and fees will continue to accrue to your Account(s), you will not be placed into arrears. A confirmatory notification setting out the terms and conditions applicable to the payment holiday will be sent to you within the coming days.
If your April debit order(s) have gone off and you require a refund, kindly forward an email to *** with the subject line “Refund” and in the body of your email, please include your Account Number(s) you require to be refunded. Please remember the payment holiday refers to 3 instalments not to be paid (including any reversals of debit orders).
A gentle reminder that you will be required to resume payment of your instalments after three months to ensure a good credit profile.
For more information on our three month payment holiday campaign, you may visit the COVID 19 tab on our Standard Bank website.
Kindly ignore this correspondence if you have already been assisted by our Debt Care Centre.
