Standard Bank Young Artist is Fed Up with Standard Bank

I am a former winner of the Standard Bank Young Artist Award, the most prestigious arts award in the country. Before Standard Bank gave me my prize money and the budget allocated so that I could pay my collaborators in creating my work, they insisted that I open a SB Business Account. This account was not exempt from the considerable business banking charges that they scythe off your account balance. So in essence the bank took money back from me that they awarded me. Sneaky. This year the account was made dormant, as is the nature with my arts business, nothing happens with the money for several months. I have now spent 3 days on the phone being **** to by various consultants trying to re-open the account so that I can once again pay artists and collaborators. Standard Bank, don't put your name on an arts award, claiming to have a real interest in the arts when frankly you don't care about art or artists at all. You simply want the free advertising that you now have any time my name is in print. Shame on you.
