Standard Bank won't let me close my account.

<p>I have gone to the standard bank Sougate Branch to close my Prestiege cheque account in September 2016, and I was assuered by the Consultant along with the branc manager that my account was finally closed after a number of attempts. I am now receiving statement from Standardbank sugggesting that my account is still open is in arrears for account fees. I called their contact center which cofirmed my account is still open and I would have tovisit their branc to sort this mess. It seems Standard Bank is holding the customer at randsome. Why is Standardbank providing such a appaling service.</p>
