Standard Bank withholding funds from estate.
I am so angry! My mom passed away last year July, 2020. Standard Bank itself is the executor of mom's estate. They currently have ALL DOCUMENTS needed to release her funds. I have been promised about 5 dates on which this was supposed to happen. Each time it did NOT happen and I was given different excuses. I am LIVID as this is clearly a deliberate delaying tactic and they have NO right to hold on to money that is legally mine.
What kindnof institution does this?! NOT one that can be trusted. I would never EVER Bank with Standard Bank. Something fishy is going on. The regional manager never answers her phone and staff actually know this.
Does anyone know how I can get resolution with this issue? Do I procure a lawyer?
