STANDARD BANK WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT PROFILE
I check my credit profile regularly and recently...lo and behold.....STANDARD BANK PERSONAL LONS was saying I'm two months in arrears on my credit profile. I called the Standard Bank Collections department and they said my account was UP-TO-DATE.
What I think happened was that they converted the payment holiday they granted me to arrears on my credit profile. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT??????
Here's some advice: 1. DON'T ACCEPT PAYMENT HOLIDAYS FROM STANDARD BANK, THEY WILL JUST CONVERT THESE TO ARREARS ON YOUR CREDIT PROFILE 2. DON'T TAKE OUT PERSONAL LOANS WITH STANDARD BANK, THEY WILL JUST RUIN YOUR CREDIT PROFILE EVEN IF YOU NEVER MISS A PAYMENT.
