Standard bank wants to keep me enslaved

Financed my first new car through standard bank and naturally the rates are high. I have paid for 3 years and the capital amount has decreased very minimally. I have sent email requesting settlement figure but they not responding for over a week now. I guess they want be enslaved to their high rates. I hear other companies give you a figure immediately.
