Standard Bank Vehicle Finance - Shocking Service Levels and Inefficiencies

On the 20th Jun -22 upon receiving my vehicle statement, I noticed that my instalment was incorrectly amended and contacted Standard Bank Asset and Vehicle Finance AVAF with regard to my monthly instalment that was incorrectly amended as per the latest interest rate increase. My instalment went from R4400 to R5100, which did not align to the basis points increase as per the interest rate hike. I received an automated response thereafter from transact@standardbank informing that my query will be redirected to SB AVAF. This also happened to me with the previous interest rate increase, which was duly rectified and I was contacted by Standard Bank AVAF to revert that the problem was resolved and my instalment will be amended to reflect the correct amount. Further to my query this time round, I have not heard or had a single response from Standard Bank AVAF, which reflects poorly in lieu of Standards Banks customer service, and as a result had to bear the brunt of paying the additional R700 on my monthly instalment due to the inefficiencies of Standard Bank AVAF. Shocking service from a multinational corporate Bank, to treat their customers with such insignificance in these trying financial times.
