STANDARD BANK VAF - A COMPLETE JOKE

I would like to caution anyone that is thinking of buying a vehicle, to think twice before signing anything with Standard Bank VAF. As in life, we sometimes find ourselves in difficult situations. My credit score was not that great, but STD VAF financed my vehicle anyway. With a interest rate of 17%, resulting in a repayment amount of nearly double what the car was advertised to cost - i bough a new Kia Picanto. My account is NOT in arrears, and after paying 1 and a half years, i decided to see if i can get the vehicle re-financed at a better interest rate. STD bank do not refinance vehicles i was told, they could however give me 3 months "payment holiday" - what a joke. After jumping through their hoops, filling out forms - explaining my situation and what i needed, going to branches - i get a mail back from some consultant - telling me that he doesn't know how the bank can help me ?!?!?!?!? *** ? well guess what STD bank - i am at the end of my tether...i will be opening another account at another bank, and will get my salary deposited into that account, then I WILL DECIDE WHEN YOU GET YOUR MONEY !!!!
