Standard Bank useless

I received an email from Standard Bank over two weeks ago telling me that my account will be deactivated by 17 February 2023 if it is not FICA'd before then. The problem is that I am signatory on many Standard Bank accounts however the email that I received was addressed to The Treasurer without specifying to which account they were referring. I made inquiries and eventually established which I account it might be (still uncertain which account was the culprit) and then directed an email to Naeema Hendricks of the Killarney Branch requesting that she please contact me. Well the 17th of Feb came and went without any contact being made until today. I am then told by this person that I am not a signatory on the account and that I must come to the Branch, with the other two signatories, to sign a new mandate. I stated that I have been a signatory on the account since 2013 and that I personally went through to the Branch at that time, with the other two signatories, to update the mandate and obtain online internet banking access to the account. This arrangement has been working just fine for the past 10 years. The reply I then received was that the bank has "lost" the mandate. I said that it was surely impossible to "lose" the signatory mandate and that it has to have been scanned in and attached to the account profile, otherwise how was the bank able to authorize payment instructions without verifying the signatures on the payment instruction form. No answer received other than she is not responsible for whoever was managing the account before she took it over and that I, together with the other two signatories, have to come into the branch to try again (oh and that I must calm down). I said that this was unacceptable and asked that she get her manger to phone me. You guessed it, I am still waiting. Pathetic is all I can say - "Simpler. Better. Faster”, what a lot of *******.....
