Standard Bank Unfair Practice

Good day, I app**** for vehicle finance last month and was approved. I subsequently app**** for a personal loan to settle an existing loan in order to pay a reduced installment. I then went to sign my deal and pick up my car but was told at that stage that the deal is now declined. I looked at the financial approval and noticed that both loans were reflecting and advised the finance manager of same. She advised me to send through the paid up letter which I did. This was sent through to the credit department. I received a response today stating the deal is still declined based on affordability? How can this be possible when the installment is lower as the initial loan? If this is the case then the deal should have declined in the first place! I received a response from Rochelle Hamilton who gave me an inadequate reason just stating that deal is declining now due to affordability? I require an urgent response as it is unacceptable that I am not given a proper explanation. Failing which I will escalate to the Motor Ombudsman as I do not feel I have been treated fairly.
