Standard Bank - UNBELIEVABLE!

On 28 April 2016 someone phoned me saying that he is from Standard Bank. He even mentioned the part of "this call may be recorded for your safety and security". He wanted to register an app for me to use on my phone. I was very busy at school on that moment. He asked me about an old cellphone number and I told him that I still have the card but are not using it anymore. It was a short while after the call that I have received a sms from Standard Bank that an amount of R5000 was transferred to the cellphone number that the person called me from. The second sms came about one minute later stating that another R5000 was transferred to my old cellphone number. As soon as I checked whether that sim is still working, I realized that he has done a sim swop or number change on my number. I have gone through the whole process of going to the branch and reporting the matter to the online ***** division of Standard Bank and even emailed them the Case Number and declarations I made at the Police. The bank told me that the matter will be investigated and it will take about 4 - 6 weeks. I phoned a couple of times and eventually after 8 weeks I told the investigator that I will take the matter to you if not resolved immediately. She said she will phone me back in 30 minutes, which she did. She told me that they will refund my R10 000 within the next few days. I received the money back in my account the next evening. Exactly 3 months later on 28 July 2016 something similar happened. I received an email from Standard Bank ibsupport stating that I have R6 300 in uPoints that must be credited to my account. It contained a link - as soon as I clicked the link it took me straight to my Standard Bank login. I logged in and received a sms with a pin/code that I had to insert. 2 minutes later I received a sms from my bank stating that yet another R3000 was transferred to a cellphone number. I called the cellphone number and it was just ringing, nobody answered. This was at 07:55. About 5 minutes later someone from online ***** division phoned me to find out whether I authorised the instant money payment that just went through. He immediately cancelled my card and told me to go to the branch as soon as they open at 09:00 which I did. Went through the whole process again - going to the police - sending the statement and case number to the online ***** division. Eventually after 8 weeks the investigator (same as the previous time) phoned me on 30 September 2016 saying that they are not going to refund me as the time from where the money was taken to when I went into the bank was too long and that they can't trace the money. I was actually in shock and tried to talk to her further about this as I have already borrowed the R3000 from a friend to pay my accounts but she kept on saying "hello hello" as if she couldn't hear me anymore. I was hoping that she would call me back but nothing happened. Our telephone lines were down at the school for 3 weeks so I could not contact her again. I am a single mother struggling with a 19-year old retarded son who has a lot of medical expenses. I really really need this money to be refunded. I hope and pray that you would be able to help me. Thank you. Amanda Chowles (seeing that this was sent the first time on 26 October 2016 and no response was received, I closed my Standard Bank account after months)
