Standard Bank - Unauthorised payment holiday on my vehicle finance
Standard Bank has put a payment holiday on my vehicle finance without my knowledge or approval, and has charged a huge amount of interest to my account because of this. They are also making it near impossible to reverse this payment holiday, I have spent this whole week trying to have this payment holiday and the interest charge reversed. The consultants also cannot confirm whether the interest charge will be reversed once the payment holiday is removed.

25 May 2020, 08:29A Standard Bank consultant has been in contact with me since this post, but it's now 10 days later and the situation is still the same. How long does it take to reverse a payment holiday? I understand that this consultant can only do so much and that ultimately it comes down to the debt care department, but they cannot even give an ETA of completion. Do I need to move my accounts and loans to another bank?
