Standard Bank UCount Rewards Programme is a ripoff.

Standard Bank's UCount Rewards Programme is a *******. 1. On their website, they state that you can collect UCount Social Rewards Points for just linking your Twitter Account to your UCount Account. They also say that they will Reward you with UCount Social Rewards Points for posting #UCount with a picture on a daily basis. These Rewards Points are supposed to be allocated based on the number of Twitter followers you have. This just does not happen. If they do allocate Social Rewards Points, it's always incorrectly awarded. Otherwise they just don't allocate the Points. I have contacted their call centre numerous times, but they can't seem to correct this problem once and for all. 2. The Rewards Retailers that are associated with the UCount Programme are not available everywhere and you cannot always earn or redeem UCount Rewards Points when you shop online at these stores. Standard Bank ended their partnership with Clicks and started a partnership with Dischem. There is no Dischem where I live. I've checked and the information I found is that Dischem only has 106 stores in South Africa whereas Clicks has over 700. This means that I won't be able to collect UCount Rewards Points there any more. 3. Other UCount Rewards Retailers which I cannot earn UCount Rewards Points at, due to the fact that there are no outlets where I live include Caltex, FreshStop, Incredible Connection, Makro, The Body Shop, Tiger Wheel & Tyre, Musica, Samsung, Hirsch's, X-Kids, X-Trends, The Cross Trainer. Thus I am only able to earn UCount Rewards Points on my grocery purchases. To me it seems that Standard Bank is deliberately choosing UCount Reward Partners which are not easily accessible. I live in a relatively big town with 2 malls. Surely Standard Bank can choose UCount Rewards Retailers that have more outlets and are more accessible to more people. I am so disappointed. I have been a UCount Rewards member since 2013 and have been stuck between Tier 1 and Tier 2. Standard Bank makes it impossible for middle income people to move up tiers, collect UCount Rewards Points. 4. They are not consistent with their new feature of UCount Goals & Gains. Sometimes when I achieve a goal, it shows wait until a certain date, thwn it shows pending, check back after a certain date. When I check back, it shows goal expired. This is disappointing especially when I know that I have completed that goal.

Standard Bank, thank you for your response. This however does not resolve any of the issues that I am experiencing. Please address these issues as it is affecting the amount of UCount Social Rewards Points I am supposed to get and also negatively impacting the amount of UCount Rewards Points that I could earn.
