Standard Bank Tyger Manor

We have been trying to contact Standard Bank Tyger Manor Branch in Bellville for months to get our company's garage card which expired in February... Every time we phoned them, they would tell us to get in touch with our Company Banker... but everytime we phoned or mailed her we would either get told she on leave and automated email replies saying she is on leave. We would then phone Standard Bank Customer Care and they would tell us the only person who can help us is our banker. We eventually found out the card was sent to the branch but no one let us know it was there so it got sent back to head office. We eventually get an sms to tell us the card is at the branch so we went in today to go collect the card. When we walked in we saw there is no one serving the counter for collections. We then asked the lady in the front who told us that we need to put our names on the list to see the consultants.... the very same consultants who are busy helping people take out loans, open bank accounts, etc which are all lengthy processes. When we arrived we told the lady up front we are in a bit of a rush as we had to book my wife into hospital so couldn't wait more than 20min. I mean come on... its just a card collection... walk in, sign and get card and walk out. Surely this is something they want to do because of people piling up in the branch. Eventually we could not wait any longer as we had to get to the hospital. As we were walking out, we noticed another lady walk in, they went to check if her card had arrived and she got helped immediately and then walked out. So first of all, how come they couldn't help us that quick? Secondly, why make people who are in for something quick, wait in the same queue as people who have longer processes to go thru? Thirdly, why not have someone on the collections desk to ensure there are less people in the bank especially with covid? And finally, why did they help someone who arrived 20min after us instantly as she walked in for the exact same enquiry? Absolutely shocking service...
