Standard Bank transfer money without permission

<p>Got an SMS that my money was transferred from one account to another. I called the ***** line and was told it was not the bank who did it. I went to the bank it was said their collection devision did it; but the point how can a bank allow for a client account to be tempered with without first consulting the client? Does this not constitute self help on the part of the bank? I am really disappointed

Hi

to this end nobody from Standard bank has contacted me , had to go to the bank twice and I am told it usually takes a week to resolve. My issue is what if one is stuck and needs the money which he believed he had but his bank simply engaged in self help, this is very sad and ************* behavior

I am really thinking of moving my accounts to other banks due to this "we don't care attitude shown by standard bank" If you can't trust your bank with your money why bank?
