Standard bank took vehicle insurance with Hollard on my behalf without my consent

I have noticed that Standard Bank Motor Assist Cover (SBMAC) has added a line on my VAF Account for vehicle insurance. I would like for the insurance to be cancelled and my money to be refunded because I already had insurance with King Price and I thought SBMAC was a **** because none of the people I spoke to at the bank knew what it was and I was advised by the bank staff not to send banking details to people I do not know.

I called Standard Bank Insurance more than once before the 1st of November 2016 to find out if SBMAC was affiliated with Standard Bank but all the people I spoke to on the phone said they that they did not know SBMAC. I was put through to the warranty department they also could not help. I was then given the number for Hollard but Hollard said they do not have any insurance under my name. I then went to the Standard Bank Mall Of Africa branch to enquire about SBMAC but none of the service consultants including my private banker Salma Jalal could help me, they all told me that they did know SBMAC and advised me that I should not give away my banking details since they could not confirm who SBMAC is. I also sent an email ********** on the fourth of October 2016 to try to confirm maybe they knew about SBMAC but I have received no reply to-date.

I went back to the bank after the first of November, this is after I was debited for vehicle insurance by SBMAC. This time around they managed to confirm that SBMAC is indeed affiliated with Standard Bank.

My problem is that I tried to find out about SBMAC from Standard Bank before the 1st of November but because none of the Standard Bank staff knew about their products and I ended up getting debited for an insurance item that I already possess. This has really inconvenienced me and I am hoping for my money to be refunded back as fast as it was taken.
