Standard Bank Tap & Go feature

I called Standard Bank to disable the Tap & Go feature as I feel it is not safe especially after seeing a video on YouTube that they can tab while your card is in your wallet without you noticing. Standard Bank says they cannot disable Tap & Go only and they is nothing they can do on their side as the cards are made by Master Card and not them. All I wanted is to use my card the normal way and insert a pin before a transaction. what happens if someone stills my card? How do I ensure that my hard-worked money is safe if I cannot decide if I want the feature or not? I am really unhappy
