Standard Bank taking money from customers

I paid all my accounts at standard Bank receiving paid up letters from them, and they went to Trans Union Credit Bureau with a bad rating that I am still owe them money. I phoned them to ask what is going on and I been transfer from one department to a other without any luck. They tell me to phone Trans Union but the Credit Bureau only received that information from Standard Bank. I even send them proof of the paid up letters that stated the Credit Card, Home Loan, and personal loan is paid in full and been closed. This morning I phone to close my Cheque account with a balance of R0.00 now they do not want to close the account as the Banker said She can not close the account because there is outstanding cost. My feeling is that Standard Bank just want to make money out of me. I am a pensioner and there is a reason for closing all my accounts. I lodge a second complaint of additional cost they ask and ask for. I will not tolerate this anymore. They did make that my credit score drop tremendously. I try to sort this out but with no luck. My next step is to go to the Bank's Ombudsman
